Małgorzata Mróz – a painter, psychologist and member of the Nowy Wiek (New Age) art group, which promotes the return to beauty and harmony in art.
Her first contact with oil painting was when, as a child, she observed her father stretch and prime a canvas, put background colours, and finally apply paint to create works of art, which she found so captivating.
For Małgorzata, art and psychology are two passions which complement each other. She completed her secondary education at the High School of Fine Arts in Koszalin, studied psychology at Cardinal Wyszynski University in Warsaw, sexology at the Medical University of Warsaw, and cognitive behavioural therapy at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.

The artist believes that her professional education as a psychologist enriches her creative perspective, allowing for a deeper interpretation of the surrounding world as well as people, with all their emotions and complex personalities. Such an approach makes her works compelling for the audience and provides them with more space for interpretation.
